However, da2 directly ties in to inquisition. I reccomend playing da2, then watching lets plays or cutscenes of the dlcs. Then make your own choices of what you would have done in the keep. Order of importance: origins, da2, awakening, legacy, witch hunt, mark of the assassin, and lastly golems of amgarrak.

A few of the DLC are solo addition mini-game quests which you can play at any time, they don't occur during the regular game. I don't think any of the in-game origins dlc is necessary, but they're all pretty fun, and the soldier's peak chest is very convenient. Awakening is closer to dragon age 1.5 than a dlc imo. Witch Hunt is somewhat relevant for the later games. Dragon Age 2 dlc doesn't come with the game and is weirdly inconvenient to purchase.
